Bizarre ice cream flavors

The city of Yokohama (Japan) recently had a festival to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the arrival of ice cream to Japan. There were over 125 flavors available, including beef tongue (the most popular), cheese, octopus, prawn, eel, raw horse, curry, crab, potato and most importantly (from my point of view) – BEER! (Unfortunately, the beer flavor didn’t really taste like beer. Oh well.)

I love ice cream in all flavors. I really wish that they would have a similar ice cream festival here in California. I would definitely be there. If anyone knows of one, please let me know 🙂
