Water on Mars

NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander discovered small clumps of bright material 4 days ago. Scientists have now concluded that this material must have been frozen water that vaporized when dug up. There was some thought that this material was salt, but clumps of salt do not disappear over time.

  1. They’ve assumed that for a while, but it’s nice that we got a “taste” of it as they say (although this “taste” would in reality kill us).

    It’s nice to know that space exploration takes precedence over the mortgage crisis.

  2. When earth gets overpopulated, we will eventually have to build colonies elsewhere. Space exploration should definitely take precedence over something that is not going to kill anybody, such as the mortgage crisis.
