The 1960 Yankees outscored the Pirates 55-27 in the World Series, but lost 4 games to 3. They won their 3 games in blowouts, and lost 4 close games. The Celtics almost did the same thing in their first round playoff against the Atlanta Hawks, but Boston won game 7 in a blowout.
