Senator John Warner (R-Virginia) has asked the Energy Department to investigate what speed limit would optimize efficiency. About time to fill my gas tank/empty my wallet… at least the price doesn’t seem to have increased in the last several days.

A Vermont couple living in an apartment complex decided to store 45 gallons of gas in plastic jugs… guess what happened (you only get one guess.) Fortunately, no one was injured.  Can someone say future Darwin Award “winner?”

Yet another upward trend in gas prices

On the way from work every day, I pass by a Chevrons station and I’ve been tracking the price of gas for the last few days.

Regular gas is $4.46 at a Shell station near my house. The last time I checked (though that was admittedly about a week ago) it was $4.25!
