Why simplify when you can make things more complicated?

This article includes a Google map showing which Starbucks locations are going to be closed. Why didn’t they provide a list instead of or in addtion to the map? I guess their technogeeks must have a lot of influence over there…
(I have to say “Whew!” None of the Starbucks in Davis will be closing…)
